Andorra is one of the oldest and smallest nations in Europe, nestled in the eastern Pyrenees its border touches both Spain and France. The main language spoken is Catalan although Spanish and French are also widely spoken throughout the country. The tiny Principality of Andorra is strew with mountainous landscapes and narrow valleys offering breathtaking views of gorges, forest landscapes, rivers, lakes and rich pasture lands.

Hiking, rock climbing, horse riding, cycling and trout fishing are also popular outdoor activities that can be enjoyed surrounded by the beautiful scenery Andorra’s countryside and mountains offer.

Do not miss the amazing views from the village of El Serrat or the medieval town of Encamp and of course Andorra la Vella, the capital, which lies at the intersection of two mountain streams, offering picturesque 12th century architecture. Andorra is also well-known for its shopping bargains, where tourists can expect to pay up to 30 percent less than elsewhere.

The climate is warm in summer and cold in winter, with abundant rainfall and snow in winter.
