Taiwan is a nation that is situated in the east of Asia and it is sandwiched between he East China Sea and the South China Sea. After the end of the Second World War, Taiwan has been under the rule of China. The country has a marine tropical climate where the summer months start from June till September. The main religions in the country are Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. There are also many people who follow Christianity. The Taiwanese culture has been influenced by many cultures such as the Chinese and Japanese cultures. The National Palace Museum is one of the most popular attractions in Taiwan because there are about six hundred and fifty works of art here. Karaoke is very popular among the citizens of Taiwan and people common refer to it as KTV.
